JEFFERSON-SPORTS FREE PICK

We are now 7-2 on free picks. Our last free pick saw the CAVS/WIZARDS game soar over the total a few weeks ago. The purpose of free picks is to give you a chance to build a bankroll. We have definitely done that. MLB is in full swing. We have played all plays very small here early on until we have a good grasp of the young season. We have hit 60% last 15 plays playing low juice and dogs so we will step up to 1 unit plays probably starting tomorrow or Sun. We made 40 units in MLB last year and 52 units the year before. It is one of the easiest and most stat based games to cap.

People have told me that 40 units is not that much. It is only because other cappers do not use a 1 unit system. It is not pretty. It is not glamourous. It is not a marketing tool. For example, if I said every play was for a 100 dimes then I could say I made 4,000 dimes last year. That sounds like better marketing right? But is it realistic that my clients are going to bet 100,000 a game and make 4 million for the season? Probably not.

Lets keep this realistic, if you have bet 100.00 a game on all the Bonus Plays then you have made 480.00 dollars. So now we are not playing with your money anymore. We are playing with the books money. That is what we want, that is real, real profit. Lets see if we can get to 8-2 on free picks: here we go:

NBA EARLY RELEASE

BOSTON-8.5

I feel we will have a very good playoff run. NBA has been solid lately. Playoffs give us the best time for pure handicapping in the NBA. No worries about overlooking teams, no worries about motivation, one tired team vs a well rested team. Everything is equal. The Celtics are in a great spot tomorrow. The Bulls psychologically know that there is no Kevin Garnett. Whether they like it or not that is in their head. The Celtics know that too. They will be twice as motivated tomorrow. Allen and Pierce and crew have heard that they are done. No KG, no success. I think this gives us a huge edge. I really like Powe and Perkins down low. Powe when he is healthy can be a very tough cover. Doc Rivers is a very good in game and defensive coach. Rondo has playoff experience now. A lot of good veterans and great coaching gives us a good 1st game edge. I feel this is the chance for the Celts to roll.

Hondo

April 18, 2009

How 'bout them Pods! San Diego staged their sec ond straight heroic comeback on Hondo's behalf last night, rallying from six down to shock the Phils and inflate the bulbous wad to 260 splittorffs.

Tonight, Mr. Aitch will take a stab with Kansas City over the Texas Seceders -- 10 units on Greinke

<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->GAME: Florida Marlins @ Washington Nationals Apr 18, 2009 1:05PM
SPORT: Major League Baseball Picks
PICK: Florida Marlins
REASON FOR PICK: Play On: Florida w/Johnson
Note: The Marlins continue to swim in winning waters thanks in part to their domination of the Nationals this season. With Josh Johnson 5-0 in his career team starts with a 2.64 ERA against Washington, look for Florida to improve to 19-3 in this series as the Marlins continue their early season assault here this afternoon.

We recommend a 1-unit play on Florida with Johnson.

(913) CINCINNATI REDS
(914) HOUSTON ASTROS
Take "(913) CINCINNATI REDS"

Wandy Rodriguez can be very tough at home, but the one thing the Astros almost never get from Rodriguez is lots of innings. Wandy rarely last seven frames and managed to go eight innings just once last season. That means the Houston bullpen is going to get involved here and that's good news for the Reds, particularly with closer Jose Valverde mired in an early season slump. Aaron Harang has been very impressive thus far and appears to be back to 100%. Harang is one of those April go with pitchers, as he's a robust 13-6 lifetime in the season's opening month. Off the dramatic comeback win Friday night, I think the Reds are worth a play today.
